My Dear Friends,

I am delighted to announce our highly anticipated 22nd season which will captivate listeners just as our series have for over two decades. This season showcases an impressive lineup of exceptional musicians whose talents are renowned in the US and abroad.

We are thrilled to welcome Sergei Babayan, recently appointed to the SMU Meadows faculty, who brings a fresh perspective to the Dallas music scene. He will join Gary Levinson in a concert featuring the works of Prokofiev. Their collaboration is sure to be a highlight of the season.

Mark your calendars for our season opener, featuring one of the most distinguished violinists of our time, Ilya Kaler. He will join me for an exhilarating program of French composers, bound to leave a lasting impression.

I love personally greeting our returning musicians, Michael Klotz, Alessandro Deljavan, Julian Schwarz, Bion Tsang, and Anna Gorelova, as well as welcoming Blue debutants Anton Ilyunin and Wendy Chen to the BCMS family. I thank them all for their readiness and trust in our series.

All DFW music lovers will be pleased that Van Cliburn Gold Medalist and dear friend Vadym Kholodenko will return to BCMS with an unforgettable evening gift.

Finally, plan to join us for two special events: our Young Stars Champagne Tea and our December “Tango Evening!”, details pending.

Our continuing gratitude to the Rea Charitable Trust, TACA, and the Richard and Enika Schulze Family Foundation for their generous grants which undergird BCMS, enabling us to offer this amazing series for a reasonable ticket price. The Schulzes’ gracious gift of their home for the last ten years and counting is a priceless treasure beyond measure! And I thank you for your continuing interest and support of our mission to provide great music in an intimate setting as the composer originally intended. Join us this fall!

With love,
Baya
