About Blue Candlelight Music Series
Blue Candlelight Music Series was founded in 2002 as the brainchild of Daredjan “Baya” Kakouberi and Lisa Blue. Their vision was to enrich the cultural fabric of Dallas by presenting performances by world class musicians in the intimate surroundings of an elegant private home. In that way an audience could experience classical music and close contact with musicians recreating the atmosphere in which chamber music masterpieces were originally performed.

The wonderful winners of the 2025 IBLA Grand Prize competition in Sicily joined us for an outreach performance at the Frisco Public Library on May 3. A fun and family-friendly event, our audience of all ages got to hear beautiful music as well as chat with the artists (who hailed from the countries of Georgia, Italy and Poland) about their lives as musicians.
