“Without music, life would be a mistake.”
Friedrich Nietzsche

My dear friends:
How time flies! Just yesterday it seems, we were sitting down with a few ambitious individuals to create a music series that would welcome the artists, the music and our audience in an atmosphere of intimacy, housed in a salon. Here we are, ready to kick off 2008-09, our Seventh Season! In past seasons, I am proud of how we have grown, not only because of sensational music-making, but because you, our audience, have embraced our vision. Thank you for believing in us, our programming and our mutual love of music. This year we offer five concerts that feature both new (to our Series) and veteran performers such as Sergei Babayan, legendary pianist and pedagogue we presented five years ago, Emanuel Borok, Dallas Symphony Concertmaster joined by pianist Andrey Ponochevny, and Gary Levinson, DSO Senior Associate Concertmaster, joining me for recital we both really look forward to. We also welcome internationally acclaimed clarinet virtuoso Julian Milkis, pianist Sima Kustanovich, and our very affable Eugene Osadchy for a season opener that is sure to be a sparkle! Linda Lee Thomas, Eugene Osadchy and I will close the season in a dual piano “duel” you won't want to miss. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on our season and of course seeing you at all our concerts. Thank
you for making our dreams come true!
Warmly, Baya
